Part of the highway job is making sure all the needed utilities are where they need to be. These storm water pipes are being installed to make sure the rain water flows away from the highway.

It's a huge job to deliver and assemble this big dozer
The South Bend Southern Railroad runs near many urban areas, where new highways are almost always under construction of some kind. The L&N Construction Company is going to build a new highway...in 1/87th scale of course.
To move big dirt, you need big equipment. Here we see a huge Komatsu dozer being delivered to the job and assembled on site.
